[Chrysler300] Great Ford (the enemy) collection

Today we saw dozens of American brand cars at '57 Heaven and most of us
would be proud to drive any one of them to any generic car show--and most
could be assured of rapt attention and recognition. 

In 1957, there was tremendous creativity, demand, style, competition and
room in the market for Hudsons, Packards, Studebakers, Plymouths, De Sotos,
Ramblers, Internationals, Nashes, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Mercuries and
probably even a few other now-orphan cars as well as the residual brands of
Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge, Chevrolet, Ford and Lincoln. 

Where have all the flowers gone?   For whom does the bell toll?   Hopefully,
not for Chrysler and the remainder of a once-flourishing and exciting
industry.

No enemies here when it comes to old American iron.  Some of those 
were pretty nice, I'd take 'em.
