  Got my KYB's from CarQuest the other day and the part numbers are
different from the KYB #'s .

  CarQuest #'s are 1944284 front and 1943316 rears. They are silver in
color.

  The rears have a wrap around band to secure them contracted.....THE FRONTS
DID NOT!!!! (installation not gonna be fun at all I'm afraid)

  Also prices were MUCH HIGHER than PST back in 2001 when I last purchased a
set from them (whilte in color) at $32.50 ea for a set of 4 less $11
discount for buying a set of 4.

  CarQuest pricing was $50.24 ea front and $58.94 rear plus IA tax.

  Total was nearly double from the PST pricing 8 years ago.

  Soooo.....If you are contemplating a purchase of KYB's for your Brute,
might be a good idea to contact PST first for a quote from them. Wish I
had!! Lesson learned.
