Hi Joe, You may want to bring your 300 to a spring shop and see if new springs are needed. My local shop added an extra leaf and put in all new rubber interliners and the sag went away. Now the ride is very stiff, probably similiar to the 300J. The New Yorker, station wagon and 300J (I believe) used 7 leaves and the Newport and 300 Sport Series only used 6 leaves. This info is found in the service manual. Now my 300 sits just slightly higher than normal, but that is good when backing down an inclined driveway (no more scraping)!
