Did you check the float to ensure it is not taking on fuel thus keeping gage on "E"?

Hi Bob, just working with a 3 week old broken ankle. I have hobbled to the K , and have tested the voltage limiter per the manual , key on ign,
and the test lamp blinked intermittenly. ....voltage limiter is just fine. the unit in the tank is new, with a new ground clip to both unit line and fuel line. There are additional grounds: unit to body, and tank to frame. No response from mr. fuel gage..

The ground (from rear of eng. to firewall) will be removed, sanded clean and re-installed. The only other fix that is listed is to connect a ground strip from back of inst. panel to firewall. I could still replace the fuel gage when the panel is removed, but it tested ok.

Any suggestions would be great, I am still unable to post messages on club server, perhaps you could pass this on for me.
