Tom,
There is a fabulous stainless repair and polishing specialist here in Lawton. His name is Leo Neal. He did all my stainless including the wheel covers (prior to the painting of the argent squares and inner ring by the body shop) for my C. His phone # is 580-355-9366. Call him and tell him I referred you. He advertises in Hemmings. Leo will make the wheel covers look better than new! Hope to see you and Dannis in Lancaster with the F! 300'ly, ROB KERN

Tom,
It is probably "Flash Chrome" which should be able to be removed by a stainless buffing specialist that must buff through the finish.

Subject: [Chrysler300] 300F Hubcaps
I have many hub caps for the 300F and find that all of them have a film on them that is very difficult to remove. I have had no trouble polishing all the stainless for the F but can't seem to get the film off the hubcaps. It seems like a clear coating but is nearly impervious to fine sand paper and polishing compound. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove the film prior to buffing and polishing?
