Re: [Chrysler300] 57 heater control valve



hey guys are we really talking about a Bourdon tube - they are typically 
used for measuring PRESSURE not Temperature. If you look the term up, 
typically they are circular tubes closed at one end that change arc of 
curvature as pressure causes deflection of tube. The little mercury 
filled tubes on house thermostats are mercury switches based on thermal 
expansion of mercury and gravity to tilt a switch about a pivot.
