[Chrysler300] Steering wheels

I had the same problem with the steering wheel Gary's did for me for the 56
Imperial. I saw him at Carlisle and he said he guarantees them for 1 year.

 

Most of the time that steering wheel was in heated and cooled storage; I was
disappointed that it cracked, although it looked very nice up to that point.

I had Garys Steering Wheels of Carlisle, Pa. restore a 55 Chry. wheel for me
about 18 month's ago for more than $ 800. It was beautiful, however it has
begun to crack in several places and he tells me that he can't repair it
without more money. Just letting everyone know. While I am on the subject of
steering wheels, has anyone heard how the guys in Sweden are doing with the
last bunch of F and G wheels ? Also , the F grille bars I got from Gary
Goers are nice but I had to do some -----a lot------of dressing down or
cutting down the raised area where they bolt on to grille center-----it
would be better to do this before the grille center was rechromed but mine
was . They will fit but it takes some work.-----------Johnnie Slayton
