Hey Pete -

A couple of thoughts:

Just for grins, see if you can get closer with Dupont. The guy that painted
my yellow 58 Plymouth a few years ago said PPG paint has become real garbage
lately. He much prefers Dupont. Also, even though you've probably already
sprayed the final primer coat, if you sprayed a seal coat of Dupont,
wouldn't that take care of the paint system incompatibility issue ?
