As stated in the auction copy, the car was ordered with code 343 fender ornaments.  While that was not an intended 300C option, neither were fin antennas but several 300Cs got them.  Some such orders slipped through accidentally at the factory;  others got through because money bought special favors.  Like we say "stuff happens" and other similar sayings.
