[Chrysler300] '64 Dashboard

Hello, Everyone:
I finished restoring the dashboard on my '64 (removed from car, completely apart, repainted, etc.) and started to re-install it yesterday. It is not going in as easily as it came out. Do I have to remove the windshield? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.
