Yes Paul,  you should be looking for a stamped number on a machined  surface 
just above the pan on the right side of the trans ( passenger  side). Not 
being home to check I do believe the machined surface is on the  right side...Not 
a casting number.  And again this number that George  provided meant it had 
the 5th clutch disc etc...Marv
