after trying all the things various 300 club members suggested / i
believe the vacuum pressure is low but it is working (i put a guage on
it).
on the gauge i used, it had a reading that said: the pressure was 1/2
of normal; possible problems... late valve timing or check for leak on
intake manifold or heat riser.
so first i looked for a vacuum leak and found one of the intake
manifold bolts was loose...and that helped a bit...and the rough idle
improved.
i also cleaned the check valve on the reservoir tank.
the brake pedal goes down easier now...not being so firm.
so there is progress.
thanks to all who submitted info / i will report any more successes.
billlllll in hot hot hot kennewick washington / it has to be over 100
