The other day I went to make a service appointment for my everyday driver (an Acura). Since the weather was nice, I drove my 300D convert to the Acura dealership. The service guy, late-20s - early 30s,and a car guy based on my conversations with him, wrote up the order, and then he noticed my 300D. We went out to look at it, and I explained that it was a 300D. Then he said, "You mean, there was a 300 before the 300M?". I guess our cars really are totally unknown to the vast majority of humanity!
