[Chrysler300] rear end yoke interchange for a 57

what years will fit the rear end so i can use a new style u-joint? i have  
caps for the old style if anyone needs them. i tried to change caps to the new  
u-joint but the main part of the joint must be a few thousands bigger cause 
all  the needle bearings wouldnt fit from one to the  other.
