the cones have a brushed or dull silver appearance around the gold center.
has anyone had any luck duplicating this finish? also how is the best way to
repaint the gold center? tried to mask it and paint it but not very satisfied
with the results. these little parts have been keeping me from assembling my
gauges for weeks. very frustrating. any suggestions?
