[Chrysler300] All Chrysler Nationals - Carlisle 2008

To All Members and Friends:
 
    Once again it is time to remind you of the fact  that the Chrysler show 
at Carlisle will be held from July 11th through July 13th  this year.  As most 
of you are aware, this is the biggest MOPAR show in the  East, and possibly 
anywhere.  Last year they had almost 2,000 cars on the  show field.  Moreover, 
there are literally hundreds of vendors selling  nothing but MOPAR parts - no 
bow ties and no ovals - just MOPARS.
 
    You can register for the show on line.  The  admission to the show field 
is $40.00 if you register prior to June 23rd.   After that date, the price 
goes up $10.00.  Your admission gets you  three days on the fun show filed and 
admission for two for each of those  days.  You can't get a better deal anywhere 
- you have a safe environment  in which to park your car for the entire day 
and you have access to the vendors  and the exhibits.  It is actually cheaper 
than it would be to come as a  spectator, pay to park outside the gate, and pay 
to get in for the three  days.  When you register, please make sure that you 
include the  name of the club at the appropriate space on the registration, so 
we get credit  for your attendance on the show field.  Please include the 
club name, even  if you are bringing your charger or Plymouth or other mopar.  We 
get the  credit no matter where you are on the field.  
 
    Once again, the Club will have a tent on the show  field, where you can 
all congregate and swap stories or do whatever you wish to  do.  We also have a 
block of rooms set aside at the Radisson Penn-Harris  Hotel in Camp Hill, Pa. 
which is about 16 miles from Carlisle, but is easily  accessible from Route 
81.  The reserved  room rate is $97.00 per  night, plus tax but you must get 
your reservation in prior to June  11th.  The hotel will honor that rate for a 
couple of days before and after  the weekend, in case you might be there. The 
phone number is (717)  763-7117, and make sure you tell them you are with the 
Chrysler 300  International Club, in order to get the rate.  The rooms will be  
handled on a first come first served basis, so don't wait too long.  They  
sell out every year.
