RE: [Chrysler300] C mufflers, rag style

Larry:

I installed "Three Chamber" Flowmasters on my 1955 C-300 and am happy with
the installation and sound.  Club judges, less so.  Extensions are needed.

I recently communicated with this vendor and they seemed willing to fab and
sell the mufflers only.  I have a good local shop in Antioch that can
computer bend and fab the aluminized steel pipes if needed.

If the windshield washing business is that bad, perhaps you can just wrap
the mufflers with Folger cans and baling wire--or just replace the mufflers
with straight pipes.

I'm still hoping someone has the appropriate OD for the 1955 C-300 header
pipes and tail pipes.  It seems the diameters change from front to back due
to clearance issues.

All four of the sound-stoppers on my C rag need replacing.  Where  should I 
send the few bucks this retired gent ekes out washing windows at  
intersections?  The local muffler shops go nuts when I drive in but say I
have to find my 
own muffs and it has been 12 years since I bought the last  ones.  The
answer 
is?
