Ah, a translation from the Queen's English into American is required!  It's the 
day after Christmas, celebrated in England and its colonies.  The name 
originally comes from the churches, many years ago, opening up their collection 
BOXes that day and distributing the money to the poor, thus BOXing day.
   
  Maybe we should ask if they have the Fourth of July down under? lol  They'll 
probably ask if we have Guy Fawkes Day here.  Who IS Guy Fawkes??
   
  Seriously, I would find it unlikely that Chrysler or any auto manufacturer 
would schedule production place between Christmas and New Years Day.  Aren't 
most factories, then as now, normally closed for that week?  Could production 
dates be 'fudged' for internal reasons?
