FYI, the Bay area had a 5.6 earthquake at 8:05 PM tonight.  Friends and
relatives living very near the epicenter (near Santa Clara) report lots of
movement and noise, but no major damage or power outages.  We are about 35
miles north of the epicenter and felt a sharp thump.
