Painted our B with Deltron in the late 80's. My painter did much research in this area attempting to create proper color. Was able to convert Chrysler's enamel to Deltron color which in my opinion is spot on. I do not remember formula, but have stashed away somewhere( I will try to find), but I do remember being told that it was not only used on some Ford trucks but also by Jaguar(both in the 1970's or early 80's). You definitely do not want a refrigerator white but more of an off white toward possibly a very light cream.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Modern Paint codes for 300's
Hi to all the 300 crew.
A number of people have been of great assistance in helping me with
modern paint codes for my 300D in Ermine. In particular, Gil Cuningham,
who has gone to the trouble of scanning some original paint chips and
posting me the formulas. I am getting very close to painting the car, so
as soon as my painter sprays out some sample chips.....Kind of getting
sick of reminding him......., I will post these to Gil Air mail to see
if we are close. A few other helpful members have provided me with codes
that they have used themselves, and which should also be close. It will
be interesting to see how they all compare with Gil's chips.
It was interesting however that the modern formula info on the '58
color, Ermine say from PPG or similar, seemed thin on the ground amongst
the 300 fraternity.
I am hoping however that a similar question for Cloud White on my '56
300B will be a more well worn path.
So can any body out their help me with the modern formula for 1956 Cloud
white?
Really looking forward to some help on this one, the B will probably be
ready for paint before the D
Thanks again gang in anticipation.
