[Chrysler300] Rechroming

Hi John and All,

 

I used Don Pirri?s Coat of Chrome on my 56 Imperial and it is OK for
interior items but does not hold up on the exterior. Don told me that was
the case and I tried it anyway on some outside pieces and it definitely does
not work for parts that are continually exposed to wind, sun, rain, etc. He
was working on a better clear coat so that it would hold up better but I
haven?t heard that he has successfully accomplished that. Be sure to get
quotes on what he will charge so there are no misunderstandings. I didn?t
have any problems but I had estimates before he started. Very nice fellow.

Hi Bob, 
I don't know about chrome plating being any cheaper here in Florida, but
here's another possible solution to your chroming issue - I've never tried
them, but their website explains their process - www.coatofchrome.-com
Has anyone here in the club used them before?
