For what it is worth, my "F" convertible experienced no problems with the
rotisserie either. I would hardly expect any, as general driving usage of the
car would involve far more stress.

A hard top car is plenty strong enough to go on a rotisserie without extra
bracing, unless your floors and rockers are very rusty. The body doesn't
really weigh all that much without the sub-frame and all the interior parts.
