I always enjoy hearing stories (of poverty), about being short of money,
while considering buying a non-running car for $27K. 
The stories are even more interesting from members who already have 5-6 or
30-40 non-running letter cars in their barns.

Used car dealer and long-time friend Dennis Jones calls me today with his 
latest find. A white G (not on our list) with saveable paint and all the
parts 
although the engine and trans are not currently in the car but are part of 
the deal. AC car. Vin is 142592. Will be on eBAY soon but can be yours for 
$27K I have not seen the car but will inspect for listmembers that may be 
interested. Standard fee of a bottle of wine, of course, but if you plead 
poverty, it can be waived with a good excuse. Buy it soon and you can send
our 
beloved editor your story for the next club magazine.
