[Chrysler300] partsvoice and speedometer woe

Hi group,

A couple of things-

Has anyone else noticed that Partsvoice doesn't seem to work anywhere near as well as it used to?

The site doesn't seem to be able to find anything anymore.  Does anyone have an alternative for parts searching?

I'm still looking for a back half (diode casing) for my 61G alternator 2095192.  Any leads appreciated.

 

Also, my speedometer in my C has stopped working.

I removed it and spun the shaft with a drill and it registers just fine, so it's not the speedometer head.

Any hints or cautions when I attempt to remove the cable from the tranny end?  Is fluid going to come gushing out?

If the plastic gear has disintegrated, did the pieces go into the pan?  Are there replacements available that are correct for a 150 speedo?

Any help appreciated.
