Thanks for all the replies I received to my question:
I have never had any problems with the turn signals on my ""F". But... now, all of a sudden the right turn signal isn't working properly. The left works fine, normally. All bulbs -- left and right -- illuminate okay (this is the first time the turn signals have been activated since last fall).
It turned out to be a non-existent problem. I've been heavily involved with owning/maintaining/repairing/etc. autos since I was thirteen. I never knew that if the battery voltage was down a bit, as little as one volt, it could prevent the turn signal flasher from functioning properly.
Thanks to Warren Anderson -- I do now! Thanks, Warren -- without your advice I'd still be looking for a non-existent problem!
