  I have purchased brass floats from Ford dealer that should work and some import  cars especially use a round plastic float. Brass nor plastic last forever but you do need something that floats. Might also try NAPA as a wild idea or some place that has Dorman HELP line like Autozone, Checker or Carquest. Kind of pushed here so don't have a part number for you.
