I just checked the AACA website. They have a PDF file of the 2007 judging manual.  It has changed since the 2003 edition. It specifies Class 36 as Factory High Performance Classes. Class 36c is 1960 to 1969 Chrysler Dodge & Plymouth; Chrysler 1960-69 all 300 Series and Letter Series 2dr. 4V models inc. factory optional 2-4V or 3-2V. etc., etc. There is not a separate class for the 55-59 300 series, or any other high performance cars of that era.  I suppose they would fall into class 27 production cars.

Now that I think about it, last year at the local AACA show at Thanksgiving, Steve Estes was here with his E hardtop.  We were put in different classes because the judges said 36C was only for letter cars 1960 and up. Didn't make much sense then and still doesn't but at least we both had the opportunity to take 1st place in our classes.
