[Chrysler300] C-300 1/4 window seal

trying to install new rubber seals on my rear quarter windows. I tried using the golf club trick by using a slippery  hand cleaning soap all over the seal and window channel but it's like pushing a rope. If I grab the upper end of the seal and pull, I'm leary of ripping the end off. Somebody has been here and done this, maybe they can share their solutions.
