Guys,

My reasoning behind NOT buy the inexpensive lead-acid type battery was, I didn't want to worry about the acid vapors eating the paint off the inside of my hood, battery tray, or inner fender. I rationalized it this way: It costs $100 more for the dry-cell battery, and about $400 to repaint my hood.  For me, it was a no-brainer.

heir non- maintenance free batteries are $160-170.  Consider the case for the 
ptima 6V runs around $85 and this is a similar situation with a 12V inside a 
ar-top-like case.
ll I know is I get requests for "THE RIGHT BATTERY".  Those who make the 
equests don't add "at the lowest possible price".
here are many choices from there down to Pep Boys.
