  Chrysler stock is at 7 year high, and, for those of us who work there, this is a great opportunity.  Rumors fly, Automotive News has the GM thing in print, but JP Morgan is busy at work lining up someone.  Best fit (IMHO) is Renault-Nissan, products and markets line-up very well.  Or, there could be an investment company out there who will take over (where is Kirk Kirkorian when you need him).  Best thing would be a sale, as the current situation isn't cutting it for Chrysler group.  M-B gains economies of scale and still charges mega-bucks for their products and makes more profit.  Chrysler cannot do that, so we keep cheapening, taking features out, falling behind our competition.
   
  Having worked there for the last 20+ years and seeing us get out of debt, fall back in then finally come out with a product cycle that could sustain us, I think the company and its people deserve better.  They still don't know you can't cost-cut your way to profits, you need something people want to buy, and our products continue to have less and less styling grab.
   
  Just my $0.02, and I'm calling my broker on Monday...:)
