Hello Guys?
My Newport -61 Conv. has the original windshield. Bubble.
I didn?t know there was any difference in the trim on a bubble /
non-bubble car?.
My G Conv. have also the bubble, non tinted glass?
Best regards?. Johan

Pat -
My '64 Newport convertible has a non-bubble sedan windshield that was
installed by the second owner sometime before 1980 - It has no leaks,
and everything appears to fit together well. So does the 300K
convertible, though I have the proper compound-curved unit to install.
The question I have is why are there compound-curved windshields at all?
Is it the aerodynanics? When the top is up, the whole convertible top
does raise up at speed.

and also the compound curve windshield.? i know the stainless is
different but needed to know if the body frames were different. all of
my G's have regular windshields but could one switch to a compound curve
windshield? pat
