I have been usimg radials on my 1964K since avout 1976-1990 when I laid the car up for much neededfront end and brake work.  In that time no problems with radials.  Finally 1n 2006 completed the repairs ( waited for me to retire) -put radials on the car..  No problems as yet-Stanley
