Hi 300 Fans, I have a daily driver '69 300 clone that I refer to as my "kit car" since the cloning process took 7 cars. ( I drove it to a meet some years ago.) It began as a Newport but has complete 300 front and rear trim, white leather bucket seat interior out of an Imperial and a 3/4 race 440 TNT engine so the weight should be about that of a real 300. I've had radials on it for over 110,000 miles with no problems. About half are expressway with the remainder southern, back country roads (rough !) I've had no problems whatever - perhaps it is the Luck O' the Irish, but I suspect the problem is overstated. Have a safe winter - see you'all at the Spring Meet. All the Best 300ing !
