Hello out there in letter car land. Sean Morgan from Melbourne, Australia. I am doing a little research on a lovely unmolested 300B we were very luck to have acquired here recently. It was a car that I had seen on E-bay back in January last year but unfortunately it sold before I could even consider it. Amazingly it surfaced down under and even more amazingly I had an opportunity to make an offer. I am now the proud owner! What is of interest that it has a SO Special Order designation on the Tag. C322 There are some features of the car that are different from Standard options and some of these are clearly from the Factory. One such unusual feature is twin rear aerials. The Aerials were replaced at some point, but I strongly suspect the cables originally routed to them and are without doubt original for twin rears, They were somewhat impregnated in to the original body deadener in the floor. Also, there has never been a front aerial ever on the fender of the car. It is also fitted with Mopar seat belts fitted in a typical fashion of the day on Chrysler Vehicles, and I strongly feel they have also been with the car since new. It has many other interesting period features, and Gil has confirmed other interesting options on this car such as HighWay Hi Fi- unfortunately missing at present. Any one got a spare one? If any body has some knowledge of this car, or of its history in the Californian area, It would be great to here from you. If Doug Warrener is tuned in, I know he was aware of this car at the time, Doug unfortunately I can't e-mail your Comcast address for some reason, it just bounces. You can try to e-mail me though or through the list. Thanks Guys, Sean from OZ.
