Hi Ron:
Just consider a relay as a remote switch that can handle a lot of
current. So if you remotely operate a relay using the normally used
power window swithc to simply operate the coil of the relay which in
turn with close a set of heavy duty contacts to open and close the
necessary voltage and current to operate the power window motors. I
thought that everybody took a bit of physics when they went to school
which would have covered some of this.
