Hi club, The Hilton Head auction was a decent one for a first-year effort. About 55 of 80 some-odd cars sold. My 300 G stick car (which was not completed in time to be here) did not sell, but was auctioned 'virtually' with images and a good description from Ed Lucas (the voice of many major concours events) and Rod Egan. High bid was 160K (with the auctioneer asking for 170K). I was actually relieved it did not sell. Some really interesting cars were there....if anyone has a question about a specific car, reply to me off server and I can tell them if it sold and for how much. Many are still available with motivated owners looking to avoid shipping costs.
