I apologize for my lame sense of humor and was glad to see the phony car
removed from e-Bay.  I did get a kick out of the six cylinder designation on
the 1960 Chrysler 300 (definitely not available that way from the factory.
Dodges and Plymouths could still be had with slant sixes in those days).

A precise answer to the question, though, is yes--the 1999-2007 Chrysler
300's had/have six-cylinder engines standard--but they are not recognized as
real Chrysler 300 letter cars by this outfit.

Some of us anxiously await a pillarless two-door hardtop and/or convertible
Chrysler 300 with special performance and trim features--and some realistic
letter designation.  They may come if the Dodge Challenger turns out to be a
marketing success.
