If the master is the ONLY new item in this new brake puzzle than there are two things to consider:
1. Master is not fully releasing in the non-braking position.
2. There is an adjustable rod that comes of the power booster unit and the nut may need to be aqjusted IN to allow the piston on the master to fully release.

i recently went to my brake guy because my master cylinder was leaking.
he replaced the master cylinder rather than rebuilding it...and i have
good brakes and no leaky anymore.
but it now squeals loudly when i first put on the brakes as i put the
car in gear to take off / but not after i get going.
is that something to worry about?
