Some time ago, I had my dentist's hygienist exclaim "Oh  you are another 
Crest user."  I asked how she knew that and she said that  Crest was the most 
abrasive tooth paste, and she could see the striations in my  teeth from using it. 
 I guess maybe some glass is softer than enamel - who  knew?
