It looks like it has the roof of a Mercury Turnpike Cruiser on backwards!

 

I wonder what the drive train is??

Wow. A 1955 Chrysler Plainsman Ghia Stationwagon Concept Prototype  for sale on ebay, and in still decent, original shape, it appears.   Item #  260009474276  - check it out.  Interesting history on this car as well.  The ultimate Mopar wagon ?   Thanks, Jerry Olson, for pointing it out to me !
