RE: [Chrysler300] Dual Quad manifold

It seems there was an issue of casting numbers vs. part numbers.  The part
numbers may be different from the casting numbers and the part numbers may
not even appear on the casting.  I'm sure our experts can help sort that out
and ask that definitive answers be posted publicly on this server.

I can send you pix of the topside of my installed '55 manifold if that would
be of any help.  They are with everything except the air cleaner in place,
so are pretty cluttered.

My take on the parts book is that the part number is the same for both 1955
and 1956 intake manifolds (with or without a/c on the '56): 1731686

Could anyone verify that an inline dual quad manifold with the part 
number 1634285  on its underside is for a C300 or 300B? I could not 
find this number anywhere including the Mopar '55-'58 original parts 
book.  Also, please indicate what source you used.
