More information on the Solvent to free the Exhaust Heat Control Valve. The
description on the MOPAR 8 oz.can that I have is:
"Mopar - Heat Control Valve Solvent Penetrating Fluid. Part No. 4-187: Part
No. 3419 128. dated 1972. Contains aromatic petroleum distillates, butyl
cellosolve and colloidal graphite. The can says: Distributed by Chrysler
Corp."
"A specially formulated to dissolve lead-oxide deposit formation on manifold
valve shaft, allowing heat control valve to operate freely at all times. An
excellent rust penetrant."
A person should be able to find this product at a parts house under another
brand.
