It's kind of an informal affair, with people arriving and leaving throughout
the weekend. I'll be there (at the Camp Hill hotel) Thursday early evening
and looking for some company for drinks and dinner. Call me on my cell (516)
551-6222 if you are around.  Hopefully, Norman the Barkeep will be there
too. He's used to us.  Most of us stay thru Saturday night. I usually leave
Sunday @ 5:00 AM for home because traffic back to Long Island is such a
bitch. But that's me. Some others stay.

Friday evening, we usually go to our favorite biker bar for dinner, about a
mile from the hotel. Saturday evening, another restaurant close-by.

As far as parking - just register as a member of our Club, but you'll pretty
much have to park that litl red truck in the appropriate location /
category. Then join us at the tent where the 300 Letter cars are.

Pete, (and all),

I just made reservations...The Newport show is over so I actually have a bit
of a life now.  I probably will take my Lil Red because my G is no where
near done....ugh!

The hotel told me 20 some-odd members have already reserved which seems
great.  I think I have only had the privilege of meeting about 5 members so
far so this should be great learning (read: drinking) experience for me.
The hotel rate seems very very reasonable at $92.00 per night.

A  couple of questions:

1)  Do we all park more or less together (near the tent)?

2)  Do you recommend reserving Thursday thru Saturday night or Friday thru
Sunday night?  The hotel indicated it was about a 50/50 split...I don't know
which way to go with it...but I am planning on driving down there and not
trailering and it is about a 4 1/2 hour drive or so from Hartford. I am
wondering how hard it is to get out of there on Sunday afternoon....

    There are still a few rooms available at the  Radisson Penn-Harris hotel
for this year's All Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle,  but our reservations
are only being held until June 6th.  After that date  you will not be able
to avail yourself of our group rate.  The telephone  number is 717-763-7117.
Make sure you tell them you are part of the  Chrysler 300 Club group.
 
    Also, when registering for the Carlisle show,  please make sure that you
register as a club member, so we will get credit for  your attendance and
for your car on the filed.  You can do that whether you  are bringing your
300 or 
have another car on the show  field.   If you bring two cars for the show  
field, you can register them both as club member cars, even if one is, for
example, a Plymouth.  
 
    We hope to see as many of you as we did last year,  which was a banner
year for our attendance.  Look for our tent. If you are  coming, bring your
300
- it allows you to have a safe place to park and gives  you entry for two
people for three days, all for $35.00, which is what it would  cost you just
