Jim, not a dumb question. No, I haven't replaced the flasher unit since
the signals work on the right side. I am guessing that the flasher unit
performs the same function for both sides. Am I wrong? Doug

two

Hi Doug,
It appears to me that there is some kind of ground problem or
bulb /
socket problem, based on your description of the symptoms.
I suggest that you first turn on the parking lights and examine
all four
corners of the car. Are they all lighting, and lighting evenly,
or is
one brighter than the other?
Next - turn off the parking lights; then have someone step on
the brakes
and examine both rear lights. Same question - are they both
lighting
evenly?
Start with that and report back to us all

Hi Group, I need some help on a turn signal problem on my new H.
The
right side front and back turn signals work but flash at about
twice the
normal frequency. The left side front and back turn signal
lights come
on but do not flash. In the instrument panel, the right
indicator arrow
does not light up when the signals are flashing and the left
indicator
arrow is a solid green when it should be flashing. I have
replaced 2
defective bulbs. Help! Doug Warrener
