Re: [Chrysler300] what to do with a 300J

Hello Lee and everyone! I believe the J's and the ram K's will get their 'say in a price raise'. Yeap, very fast, the 300J, and the rarest hardtop at only I think 400 made (no J convertibles were produced). You do mention them as 'dorky'. Huh, interesting. Many would consider a '61 Plymouth as dorky but I love them! Anyways, not to get off the subject but I sense a J or K to have the simpler 'chisled' look (opinion of course). This could be a factor that has been holding them back value wise. I'll bet though this will soon change. Good luck Lee with the J. Personally I say, go for it and restore it! (ha, ha, that's easy for me to say in the $ bind I'm in now concerning my G. Well, talk to you soon Lee and if you can make it up to Escondido, cruising Grand this summer, I'll be there with my G (the only one)! Sincerely & 300ly, Brandt H. J. w/ a G.

otherwise a complete old California car that is pretty loaded with
options. Car needs to be restored. Car is not that bad, minimal rust to
deal with, it does need some rear quarter repair due to previous fender
bender accident damage. Car has AC, power windows and seat, fancy radio
and rear power antennae, original red car with red guts.
The problem is that the car is too nice to part out, but may not be
worth restoring unless someone is willing to take one for the team and
commit financial suicide to do this car. Are the 300Js and ram Ks going
to go up in value some day? Who knows I guess. Kind of a shame though,
the rarest and the fastest of all the 300s and also the dorkiest looking
so nobody cares about them. I have already parted out another 300J, I
don't think I have it in me to part this one out, at least not right
now. So I guess I will let it sit here for a while and I'll stare at it
and think it over.
