[Chrysler300] 300 D Wagon

It had to be at least 25 years ago that I saw an ad in Hemmings for a 300 D Station Wagon.  Probably someone grafted a D front clip onto a Wagon.  Anyone know whatever happened to the car?  I think it was in Maryland.
