Calif. required a retofit to 1955. But only in heavy smog areas. My
55 Chrysler has a real nice one on it. I wish I could find a few more
like it. It is a thin speacer with a vaccum line fitting then a rubber
hose to a PCV valve in line then to the place the draft tube was at the
back of the block.. I guess a guy could make one out on a carb. spacer
that most speed shops carry. Gary Barker

I don't think California ever required a PCV retrofit on a 1957 vehicle, at least my 1957 300C doesn't have one and I have had it for what must be close to 20 years! Those unrepentant smog bureaucrats will never get their hands on my collector cars!
