 RICK & GROUP, THE PARKWAY AUTHORITY CONTROLLED THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY AND 
CONTINUED USING CHRYSLERS UNTIL PHASED OUT IN LATE 60s. THE NJ HIGHWAY 
AUTHORITY WAS A SEPARATE ENTITY, THEY CONTROLLED THE TURNPIKE & SWITCHED TO DODGE & 
PLYMOUTH. IF YOU CAN REMEMBER A SIGN ON THE PARKWAY STATING "THE NEXT 13 MILES 
MAINTAINED BY THE NJ HIGHWAY AUTHORITY," THIS STRETCH OF ROAD WAS CONCRETE, 
FOR 13 MILES, BEFORE THE TURNPIKE, SOUTHBOUND. STEVE, P.G., FL
