I believe you are correct.
In 1968, a careless truck driver backed into the front end of my '61 NYer  
coupe smashing the left front fender and the chrome grill shell.
When the replacement part came in  ... there was no CHRYSLER on  it.
The dealer said the 61/62 parts had been consolidated to the '62  design.
