As a former AACA judge, I find the AACA's judging standards are quite high. However, they do lack the detail knowledge of Chrysler 300's or MOPARS in general. Most judges are not familiar in detail with high performance muscle cars of the 1960's and 1970's, but do know far more than most of us about pre-war and brass era cars. I would view this advertisement as a very good reference on the 300G, that it is indeed a high point car if bidding. Thanks, Darrin Darrin P. On page 59, Lot# 1299, shows a red 300G convert, listed as "completely restored to AACA National 1st Place specifications, with all matching numbers". Is this just auction hype? I am not familiar with this organization's judging standards or how they compare to the Chrysler 300 Club International standards. Our club standards are quite high due to the fact that the club has access to the original microfilm records for each car judged, and our members and judges are quite knowledgeable. I highly doubt that AACA standards could be higher or more challenging than our own club standards. Comments anyone?
